To come to live permanently in a country other than one’s native
land is to immigrate. What the Oxford Canadian
Dictionary doesn’t mention are the hardships, occasional discrimination,
and the pressures to not stand out.
About the Podcast
Nasha Kasha is a 28 minute weekly radio program for everyone about Ukrainian life. Interviews are in person, never by phone, and it is my privilege to travel to where the stories are. Kasha is a porridge: nutritious, warm and sometimes a little messy, like life itself. Nasha means that it is our little mess. I hope you'll add a little Kasha to your weekly listening menu.
